Double room in student house

Hello, my friend and I are looking for a post-graduate or mature student to join our three bed (and really lovely) student house. It’s in Penryn on St. Gluvias street and costs 570 per month not including bills (usually 80ish each per month) and starts September 1 (maybe some flexibility if needed).

A bit about the two of us: we’re both currently in our first years of our PhDs in ecology at Exeter. My name is Christopher, I’m originally from Canada and I’m studying Jackdaw communication. Miranda is from Cambridge and is studying microplastics in bees. I’m really into birds/nature as well as music – I play saxophone, guitar, sort of piano, and am learning violin. One thing to note is that while I practice saxophone in the practice rooms on campus a few days a week, I do practice at home as well and it is loud (I don’t play at crazy hours or anything though!). I also like to crochet, go rock pooling, and rock climbing. Miranda also loves nature and is a very talented crochet-er. She enjoys video games and is a crazy good rock climber. Also, she has Celiac’s so just have to be a bit careful with cross-contamination with food/pots/pans.

Ideally we’d both want to be friends with whoever we’re living with. Neither of us are big partiers but we do like the occasional quiz night or ceilidh and I like going to open jams.
