This is not a holiday let, so you will not be asked to leave when the season starts.

Working from home via internet is fine.

Light and airy studio room, fully furnished with comfy bed, sofa and chair, small kitchenette area (with cooker, fridge, storage). Room approx 16ftx18ft.

Modern ensuite wet-room shower/wc for your exclusive use, good strong shower with plenty of hot water at all times.

Suntrap patio garden right outside your floor-to-ceiling glass doors in which you are welcome to cultivate a neat kitchen garden, as previous occupants have done. with unobstructed views over beach and ocean, with table for 'al-fresco' breakfasts, and a fresh-water shower to rinse off swim-gear/mountain bike etc.

Sheltered storage for boards, bikes etc.

Private steps and path from garden down to beach (for the adventurous!)

Interior is decorated in calm oceanic shades with a bottle-glass shower wall and sensitive lighting.

This room is private and self-contained with it's own private entrance, no need to walk through main house. However, owners are quiet and friendly so a friendly greeting in the garden is not uncommon, but your privacy is assured (as is ours). Social distancing fully respected.

Utilities: heating, hot water, electricity etc are charged at a nominal rate; £61pcm. This sum covers all your bills. (tumble drier supplement payable if used, not available in summer months). Save the planet after all!

Use of washing machine included.

Parking adjacent to front gate free. (It's a quiet single-track road which leads only to top of cliff).

Buses to Truro, Redruth, Camborne, Hayle, St Ives and Newquay are regular (but not frequent), from bus stop next to Unicorn pub. There are local taxi services. Nearest train station is Redruth, nearest international airport is Newquay.

1 university professional and a retired couple also live in the building, (all friendly and quiet!) and this lodging would suit a quiet and unobtrusive mature SOLO person. Mature 'settled' person preferred. The beach and bars in the village are there for you to enjoy a lively and sociable time (normally, closed for now of course), but we like peace and quiet on the property. All quiet after 10pm please.
You can have a lively social life, but elsewhere please, this studio is offered as a quiet retreat only.

Blue Flag beach…with lifeguards, and endless clifftop walks in both directions. This house is ON the official cliff path.

Free wifi broadband. Poor mobile reception (some networks give weak signal at house), short walk to top of cliff gives good signal most networks, and is available at various spots in the village.

Pets: Goldfish or budgie would be fine but no dogs, cats, reptiles or creepy-crawlies please. The garden is full of wildlife...small birds, a hedgehog and a local badger.

The room and grounds are strictly non-smoking (or vapeing) areas.
