Smallish double available in character cottage

I live in a cute little cottage in Trewoon, St Austell. While I have a spare room upstairs, this is currently my dumpi-, I mean, storage area and, as a result, will probably let out my sitting room as a bedroom (see pic but note that this is not how it is currently furnished). It is nicer in any case, has a futon which opens out into a double bed, and there is always the kitchen for communally sitting around in?! This will be my first time letting out a room, and I’m not desperate to do so – it will really be a case of looking at whether our needs meet somewhere in the middle! So it will be a case of inviting you round to see the place and have a cup of tea, rock n roll.

Will accept pets (if consistently treated for fleas/worms) and am happy to look after any pets as necessary, I adore all animals. There is also (tight) parking for one car which I currently use but let me know if this is a deal breaker, front garden (small), rear garden (larger – with 6-foot ‘dog-proof’ fence), and a wood-fire for drying clothes. The cottage is traditional throughout but has a modern bathroom with double shower.

There is one local convenience shop, post office and chippie all within five minutes’ walk, plus wide open spaces and/or clay trails for dog (or human) walking. Carlyon Bay is 8-9 minutes away by car. I’m close to various bus services too – although if you need the train it’s no more than 30 minutes’ walk (or a few minutes in the car obviously). Then of course there’s St Austell 'centre' if you want more shops etc.

About me, I’m a 38 year old ‘professional’, I live a simple life and I like the simple things, I am not materialistic or greedy! I like to read and go for long walks (god I sound like a retiree). Look forward to hearing from you!
