Double bedroom in modern flat on Eglantine Ave

This is a double bedroom in a modern, clean flat in south Belfast, just a 20 minute walk from Belfast city centre.

The flat is in a traditional red brick building which is is very safe. It’s only inhabited by professionals and is perfectly quiet — we’ve lived here for over a year and never had any noise issues! The rooms are at the back of the flat too so there’s no noise from the street.

I’ve ticked the en-suite box but it technically isn’t an en-suite — it’s your own full bathroom right next to your room, with a loo, sink and bath with shower. My room has an en-suite so the main bathroom is all yours. You have a double bed (mattress and bed frame), wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table in your room.

The kitchen/living room is a shared space with a nice, modern kitchen and a great hob and oven, with kitchen equipment: kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer. There’s also a modern washing machine/tumble dryer and a Google Home!

There’s lots of amenities nearby with a lot of great restaurants, cafés, and shops on Lisburn Road. There's also plenty of public transport with Metro buses on both Lisburn Road and Malone Road, and we're only a short walk from City Hospital station, Botanic station and Adelaide St station.

Bills for the flat would include gas (which we barely have to pay during the summer because we don't need the heating on, so this is only really applicable during winter), internet (monthly - we're working on getting a cheaper package!), electricity (every three months) and TV licence (monthly).

My current flatmate is moving to Sligo so I’m looking for someone to take her room. I’d ideally love to live with someone who’s easy-going, clean and tidy, and friendly. The flat will be equally yours as it is mine so it would be great to live with someone who’s respectful and considerate, especially concerning noise and tidiness.
We’ve had a lovely, peaceful year in our flat and fell quite quickly into a nice little rhythm of who does what — taking out the rubbish, doing the recycling, topping up the gas, paying the electricity, etc!

I really enjoy the easy-going vibe that we have in the flat and I’d love that to continue with a new flatmate. Working full time, it’s great to just come home and relax, cook, read, have a chat or just watch some TV.
