Double Room with Own Bathroom

Hey!

I have a double room (bigger than it looks in the video) available for rent from after Christmas onwards. The room is currently unfurnished but I will have it furnished before someone moves in, may also be able to influence the furniture if you like lol.

About the house 🏠

The house is a 3 bedroom detached, is fully furnished (other than that bedroom currently), all appliances are available including washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, oven, air fryer etc. I bought it this year and moved in in mid august. There is a shed at the bottom of the driveway that can be used as some storage if you like. The back garden is secured and walled off and parking is available in front of the house. All bedrooms are a good size and can easily fit a double bed and furniture.

I use the master bedroom which has its own en-suite, so the main bathroom with be for your exclusive use. The bedroom available also has a fairly deep, tall built in cupboard which currently houses the tumble dryer but this will be moved to the kitchen. The 3rd room is my office/wardrobe as I work from home.

The rent will include utilities (internet, gas, electric). There are 4 train stations in Carrickfergus, the closest is Downshire which is a mile up the road. The house is located in a very quiet private culdesac.

Carrickfergus has pretty much everything you need, a short drive up the road there’s Tesco, Sainsbury’s, M&S, Lidl, Home Bargains, Subway, Burger King, KFC, McDonald’s, a few pubs like Ownies/Wetherspoons.

I’m 30 years old and I work for the UK Civil Service. Im fairly easy going in general, I spend a lot of time in the living room or out of the house at friends. I’m gay so essential that this is not a problem for you or the living arrangement won’t work. I love music, movies, going out for food, and just generally having a laugh.

What I’m looking for:

I’d like someone that’s fairly easy to get along with and enjoys having a laugh. Happy to hang out or have space, completely up to you. Clean and tidy is essential, I’ve spent a lot of money on furnishings and this is my home so I’d like it to be treated well. Must be employed. Smoking is fine in the back garden. Ideally not someone mad for partying.
