Private Monday-Friday let near city centre

large double room in family home available for a Monday to Friday rent, whilst we work away during the week (so you would be sole occupier during this time). It’s discounted rent as the catch is that we’d be looking for someone who would be happy to look after the cats and the rabbit!
The price includes a cleaner once per week. You would have top floor bedroom/bathroom and the downstairs living rooms (i. e. kitchen / garden room/lounge etc) available to you during the week. It would suit someone who lives a bit too far away to commute, wants a base here during the week, and perhaps misses their own pets. You would be able to leave stuff in your room over the weekend.

Our home is in North End, Durham. This is a quiet residential area just outside of the City Centre. Has a garden and private off-street parking.

The cats are friendly and will be in need of some company during the week when I'm away - they would require feeding, letting in and out etc, and a bit of attention. Someone with experience looking after animals would be preferred.

It's just 10 minutes walk to the hospital, 10 minutes to the railway station, 20 minutes walk to the centre of town and the University.
