Looking for a Durham student to take a large ensuite room for the rest of the academic year, at £165 pppw!

The house is a 3 bedroom house in a convenient location in Gilesgate:

~seconds away from a bus stop (bus 64)
~2-3 minutes' walk to Sainsbury's local
~15 minutes' walk to Dragonville Retail Park
~15 minutes' walk to Town Centre
~25 minutes' walk to Science Site (far shorter walk for philosophy and languages!)

The room available is a double bedroom with ensuite and it is is £165 per week, with bills included (subject to fair use, and excluding council tax and TV license).

The room has all necessities, including desk, double bed, and plenty of storage. There's also a TV and a semi walk-in wardrobe. The room is spacious and gets lots of light during the day.

Currently, one bedroom is occupied by a female masters student. I recently graduated from Durham and will not be around often so you will be sharing the house with only one person.

The shared areas are: lounge area that leads into a well-equipped kitchen, and a downstairs toilet for everyone to use. There's also plenty of corridor space for shoes and coats. You have access to the garden, with a canopy for hanging clothes/having a morning cup of tea.

Lounge has a couch, small dining area and a TV. Kitchen has full size fridge, dishwasher, oven + hob, kettle, microwave, and toaster. I also provide some utensils, plates, and cooking equipment.

The house also has a good security system, some road parking space, and an easy-to-use remote control central heating system.

Guarantor or equivalent is preferred but not necessary.

Council Tax Band: A (if you are a part time student etc. you would be liable for council tax yourself; there is no council tax for full time students).

Deposit is 1 month rent.
