Spacious ground floor room available for summer months (July 1-September 30 2020 inclusive) for mature full-time student (non-smoker) in quiet comfortable house within easy walking distance of town centre, station and university. The room is well equipped with single bed, desk, wardrobe, shelving and broadband. There is easy access to the bathroom and kitchen, and it's very quiet if you wish to study. On-street parking. The room is let on a 'lodger' basis, sharing the house with the owner, who is not normally in residence. Lodgers are asked to comply with the Terms of Agreement and Housekeeping Notes in order to keep the house comfortable, clean and well maintained. Rent covers use of wireless broadband, kitchen/diner (with washer, tumble dryer, cooker, microwave), bathroom (NB bath not shower) and garden. Other facilities include gas central heating with combi boiler (instant hot water). There is no landline available for use.
Rent includes service bills (gas, electricity and high-speed broadband). Smart meter installed for easy consumption calculations. The house is covered by a Landlord's Gas Safety Certificate, and a carbon monoxide detector is installed. It has a single bed and is well equipped with storage and shelving. All else (amenities etc) are described above.
