The house, in a quiet, residential area of town, underwent a major refurb, with a view to providing luxury home from home accommodation. It's a BIG house - two houses knocked together, then extended outwards and upwards! No worries about getting in each other’s way.
Each bedroom has a private shower room; no queuing or wondering what's happened to your shower gel! The rooms are attractively decorated, complete with wall mounted tv/dvd player, mirrored wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside table/s and lamps. Two sets of bedding and towels are provided.
A ground floor double room, complete with large, wheelchair-friendly wet-room, is available for (but not restricted to) disabled guests.
Should you feel like some company, the spacious lounge/dining room is a great social space, with plenty of comfy seating and a big tv. Oh and some board games, if that’s your thing………
Feel like being creative in the kitchen? Go ahead! You’ll find: a dishwasher, two cookers, freezers and sinks; four fridges, microwave, kettles, slow cookers, electric steamer, electric rice cooker (requested by a previous tenant; happy to oblige!), coffee machine, together with pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, all the necessary cooking utensils and some totally unnecessary but useful things, too!!
The south facing, private garden is a real sun trap, so make use of the barbeque and garden furniture.
Secure, off road car parking, with remote controlled access is available to the rear of the house.
Rent is inclusive of all utility bills, council tax (Band B) and unlimited high speed Wifi.
Spennymoor is perfectly placed for access to the A1 and A19, within easy commuting distance of Durham (four miles) Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, to name but a few, and has an excellent public transport system. The wealth of local facilities, including an award winning leisure centre with swimming pool, supermarkets (Asda is a five minute walk from the house and there’s a brand new Aldi in the town) local shops, pubs and restaurants, doctor and dental surgeries and public library make this an ideal place to live.
Please contact me if you’d like to arrange a no obligation viewing, or if there's anything I can help with. I'm happy to be flexible on tenancies and will do all I can to ensure your stay, however long, is as pleasant as possible.
Good luck with your search!
Annie
