Quiet neighbourhood. Short walk to town centre where you find big supermarkets and all usual amenties.

AVAILABLE long term rates 3 month minimum plus your share of bills. Rent price includes wifi broadband internet.

The single room with storage under bed, it is shown in the photos. Furnished with single bed, with drawer and cupboard space under the bed for storage, mattress. Shelf unit and swivel seat chair. Window, double glazed.

Bedroom is on the first floor, as is the bathroom.

Tidy and quiet room in good neighbourhood.

Bus Information. There is bus route number 16A which takes you direct to Durham in about 30-40 minutes and the stops (to and from) are about 1 minute walk away from the house. There are stops for bus number 78 (which takes you to the Stanley bus stand) less than 1 minute from the house across the road or you can walk to the Stanley bus stand from the house which is about 10 minutes fast walk. From the Stanley bus stand you can access buses to most places, including Newcastle, Durham, Newcastle Airport plus more. The bus company offers weekly or monthly bus passes if you are a regular traveller which makes it cheaper than 'single' fares which are the price for one journey only. 10 minute fast walk to big supermarkets / main shops in town centre, where you have Asda, Aldi, Iceland. There is a small supermarket shop nearby, where you can buy lots of things, bread, milk, fruit vegetables, toiletries, snacks etc which is 2 minute walk away.

The house and neighbourhood is a quiet one so this won't be suited to party animals or super loud people (nothing wrong with being an extrovert just I'm not, and you'd probably enjoy it more being in a party place / home-which my home isn't).

I try to look after the planet as much as I can and it's my personal preference to recycle amongst other things including not being wasteful of the planets resources and would ask that my housemate would be similar in this thought, or at least be willing to consider recycling. There is a separate wheelie bin for recyclables and a separate one for general non recycle-able waste so there's really no excuse not to recycle in my opinion. If you have reasons not to recycle I'd be interested to hear them.

I'm looking for a housemate that is non smoking (like me). There are no pets in the home.

Nice modern kitchen with seating/dining area. There is no separate communal living room, the shared space are what you see in the kitchen photo. Shared bathroom (please know I am fussy about keeping this clean).

Rent for room is on long term rent, 3 months minimum (payable 3 months in advance). Please confirm you understand this in your first message to me? I've made the rent cheaper because of this.

I enjoy reading, horse riding, and caring for the planet and environment where I can plus occasional museum trips.

Any questions please ask and i will do my best to answer. You will be expected to share in the cleaning of the home in communal areas, such as kitchen and bathroom. You are responsible for cleaning your own room. So it is important you understand this.

Please tell me if you are a smoker or non smoker etc. Please tell me your ideal moving in date, current living circumstances, reasons for moving etc how long you need a room for?
