Spacious double room available to rent, for short or long term lease. In a 3 bed Victorian cottage, based in the village of Brough just off the A66. Therefore, providing excellent travel links by car. Kirkby Stephen is roughly 5 miles away and has a train station with a regular service.

The village boasts 2 excellent pubs, within a 100 metres of the property. Also a very lovely bistro!

The cottage comprises of a large sitting room, kitchen/diner, a large bathroom and 3 bedrooms. There is also a loft and cellar which can be used by any potential tenants for storage purposes. Communal areas e. g. sitting room and kitchen can be used freely for relaxing.

I am the homeowner and live here with my 2 year old boarder collie. Therefore, a love of dogs is especially needed for any potential housemates! I love music and socialising and want any housemates to feel comfortable in the house. I currently work from home most of the time, but I'm starting a floristry business. So there will be times when I am out the house for extended periods.

I'm looking for someone who is relaxed and happy to go with the flow. There are no 'house rules'. However, I do expect potential housemates to be respectful of the property. Rent will cover all bills for the property, including broadband and TV license.

The property does not have a garden. However, there are lots of lovely local walks in the area. There is plenty of on street parking too.
