Rent-Free House Share – High Wray, Hawkshead (Lake District) In exchange for approx. 2–3 hours a day / around 20 hours a week of support

I’m an independent, intelligent disabled lady currently depended seeking a kind, reliable and practical person to share my home in High Wray, Hawkshead. In return for your help, you will receive rent-free accommodation in a lovely old house 1.5 miles from the village, right in the centre of the Lake District.

What the role involves

* Fetching, carrying and general assistance
* Odd jobs around the home
* Personal help
* Food preparation
* Living as part of the family household
* Additional support available for other tasks

Please note: This is a labour-intensive house and garden, so you will also take your fair share in maintaining the appearance and upkeep of both.

Who I’m looking for

* Clean, tidy and caring person
* Clean driving licence essential
* Someone who is comfortable living in a friendly household setting
* Willing to contribute to household expenses and take turns buying shared essentials (e. g. toilet rolls, washing-up liquid)

About the household

A university student has lived here for the past two years and is now moving out, so I’m looking for a suitable replacement. My health has declined significantly over the last year, and I now have two carers from 8am to 8pm. I am currently on bed rest due to multiple health conditions, so reliability and a calm, supportive nature are essential.
