Quiet room next to woods

House + decking

I'm offering a quiet single room with built-in wardrobe, bookshelf and rocking chair from Monday - Friday. The house is next to woods with shared kitchen, lounge, bathroom, garden, decking. Parking is by permit on the road close by and there is also storage for a bike. It would suit someone working or studying in the area who returns to their main residence at weekends.

As a part-time, self-employed professional I am often at home during the day and sometimes do Zoom sessions from the house. I'm a generally quiet person myself but like to laugh and banter with a housemate, perhaps share the odd glass of wine and chat, maybe go for a (short) run or cycle together sometimes and generally be companionable while also retaining independence..

You can expect honesty and authenticity so that we find a balanced way of living together. I adhere to reasonable tidiness and cleanliness but not excessive. I'd probably recommend we have a trial month so that either of us have a 'get-out' if it doesn't work for any reason.
