Room available in Glossop flat with great views

The flat is around a 5 minute walk to the centre of Glossop, and also is a few minutes walk to Derbyshire Level and open countryside for great walks and lovely views. The double room has a wardrobe and chest of drawers with a small shelving unit. There is no bed currently but I’m happy to buy a bed and also provide a small desk and bedside table.



There’s good street parking, access to a lovely garden which you are welcome to enjoy with a shed and side shed.



Shared kitchen, bathroom and living room with a lovely kitchen table, a comfy sofa and a good TV. I’m a live in landlord and partly work from home, although I am also occasionally away visiting friends. You will also be living with a lovely sociable long haired tabby called Sonny who loves to play and lie next to you, and of course, loves a Dreamie.



I’m relaxed, like a chat but also like to just chill and read. I enjoy films, crafts, cooking, running, hiking and (beginners!) football. It’s not a party flat, but you are welcome to have guests over with considerate respect for the shared space. I’m looking for a lodger with good communication skills so we can ensure we both get to enjoy our home. It’s not a big flat to clean but I do like to keep things as tidy as I can. I’m also looking for someone who is queer friendly and liberal, I don't have an age preference because younger people can also be mature. So if you are interested, maybe we can grab a brew and have a chat!
