Room to rent in shared 4 bed house in Barnstaple

Hi, we’re Beth and Harvey, two housemates looking for a third person to move into our shared 4 bed house as our other housemate is moving out soon.

The house is in central Barnstaple, a five minute walk from town. The room is double room on the first floor located at the back of the house and is on the same floor as the main bathroom. We have a downstairs toilet but this is currently awaiting repair.

The shared living room and kitchen is downstairs. We have a fridge/freezer and an additional freezer for the use of everyone as well as all normal kitchen appliances. There is a smart TV in the living room with TV licence.

We have a small paved garden out the back which you are welcome to use.

There is on-street parking available but as we are so close to town it is a permit zone. A permit is available to purchase through Devon County Council for £35.00 a year.

Bills to be paid in addition to rent are broadband, gas and electric, water, TV Licence and Council Tax (we are Band B). These bills as well as rent on average come to around £600 per month.

We’re after someone who is clean, tidy, respectful of others and a good laugh. We’re both social, outgoing, and sporty people and enjoy the occasional gathering at home with friends but equally like our own downtime too.
