Hi, I am currently living on my own., my kids have flown the nest. This is a beautiful spacious five bed house. I let a room in addition to yours air bnb throughout the year.. Most people air bnb stay one or two nights. In the summer I completely move out and let the whole house from July to the end of August so I would need your room back again by the third week in June. You will have shared use of a lovely spacious kitchen and dining area, plus use of a snug upstairs which also has a desk and tv in it. I hope we can have friendly chats, maybe sometimes eat together or watch a movie, But also be independent people and have our own lives. I would enjoy the feel of somebody else being in the house. IHowever I would not want anybody who works from home. The house is situated just outside of Berrnarbor, 20 mins drive from Barnstaple, 10 mins from Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. This is an old farm site with friendly neighbours. I have fields and woods to roam in. You need to be able to drive! I am a primary teacher but have generally opted out at the moment and tutor individuals in their houses. My main hobby is wild swimming, especially in the sea at Hele and Combe Martin. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Looking for a friendly, happy, peaceful, self-contained person. Rent includes bills. The heating/hot water comes on twice a day and as long as we stick to that generally and there isn’t a rise in costs, happy for this to be part of the rent. The room is available between September 2023 and Mid June 2024.
