A spacious and sunny first floor double room measuring 15’5”x9’ plus additional built in wardrobe and shelving space with wonderful views of the rolling hills & Teign estuary.

Located in a 3/4 bed quiet home in Bishopsteignton. The lodger would be sharing the house with myself (26) and my boyfriend (24) - we are both professional workers. My Dad owns the house but lives elsewhere. There is also an elderly friendly house cat! The house has been occupied/owned by our family since 1998 and is one of five in a terrace with a large garden. There is a separate shower room on the same floor as the lodger's room, as well as two other unoccupied rooms. These rooms will be used by my dad & his partner during short occasional visits.

Available 7 days a week at a cost of £600.00 per calendar month with one month’s deposit in advance. Rent to include all bills, including Broadband. Mon-Fri option or short stays would be considered.

Other shared areas include a large open plan kitchen-dining room (incl. washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and oven) with access to the south facing garden. This large room also has a sofa and TV. On street parking is available in close proximity of the house. The house is located some 2 miles from the seaside town of Teignmouth with mainline train station and beach. There is a bus route (Stagecoach 2) located 10 minutes’ walk away serving Teignmouth, Newton Abbot and Exeter. Newton Abbot is appx. 4 miles away and has the same mainline train route as Teignmouth for access to Plymouth (and beyond into Cornwall), Exeter, Torquay or London. Exeter is a 15-mile drive away for access to the Hospitals, Universities or Colleges. Torbay Hospital is a 20 min drive. Plymouth is appx. 45mins-1 hours drive away.

The village has 2 pubs and a Hotel as well as a corner shop, garage, post office and pharmacy and boasts a vineyard and a micro-brewery which are all within walking distance. In addition there are numerous country walks from the doorstep.

The room is ideal for a non-smoking independent mature professional or student who is sociable but respectful of others, who is clean and generally quiet. Ideally someone who maintains regular daytime working hours.
