Large double with own bathroom (free dog therapy!)

I have a large, furnished double room to let which has use of its own bathroom, both of which are on the first floor of my two-bedroom, 1850's cottage in Chudleigh, You would also have use of a small shared living/dining-room and kitchen on the ground floor and access to a small courtyard garden at the back.

I don't have private parking with my house but free parking is available in the nearby streets or in the public car park only a short walk away (which is where I park my own car with an annual permit).

I work full-time from home and therefore need relative peace during the day. However, the room is large and light enough to include a small table or desk if you also needed to work or study from home. It is also large enough to create a small living space with a comfy chair and your own tv.

When not working, I'm often out and about walking the dog, keeping fit, exploring Devon, seeing friends etc but also like quiet evenings in, cooking up something delicious in my kitchen and then watching some quality tv from the comfort of my living room.

You would need to be a dog-loving sort of person since the only other permanent house-guest ;-) is my small, cute, hypoallergenic/non-shedding and very friendly dog. The dog lives on the ground floor and isn't allowed upstairs - and certainly not in the bedrooms! - but you must be happy to share the sofa with him as he is very generous with cuddles. He is well-trained but, like all dogs, does bark now and again when disturbed or excited.

This room let would suit a liberal, mature, working professional (preferably female) who likes intelligent conversation, loves dogs and is quiet, tidy and respectful of my space.
