This accommodation comprises a spacious double room with a king-sized bed and a private en-suite with shower cubicle. The room is the only bedroom on the middle floor of a large, new townhouse. The house is conveniently situated 15 minutes walk to Sandy Park rugby stadium and Newcourt railway station. From the station it is 10 minutes into Exeter Central and Exeter St Davids. The house is also only 10 minutes drive from both the airport and Powderham Castle. The rent includes all bills, and linen, towels and wifi. Various bus routes pass by the house going into town and other locations.

Please note: the house is currently up for sale although there has been no interest because of C-19! This will have very little impact on lodgers - if an offer is accepted it would take over 4 months for a sale to go through so there would be no surprises! Occasionally there may be a viewing but I haven't had one for over a month now.

The space

This listing is for a spacious room in a brand new house. The room is the only bedroom on the mid floor. The other room is a large shared living room that I use with my teenage son. There is also a balcony that receives lots of direct sun in the morning; perfect for drinking a cup of tea!

Tenant access

You are more than welcome to make yourself at home! You will have access to the shared kitchen on the ground floor, which has fridge, freezer and oven. Your room has its own toilet, basin and modern shower. The radiator has its own thermostat so you can control the heat in your room. We also have a second living room on the ground floor that you could use in the evenings and weekends to chill.

We have a private parking space for a small car. and we have a garage to store bikes/surf boards if need be.

Other things to note

We have two soppy dogs who are incredibly friendly. You will probably not notice they are there, but dog friendly people are encouraged.

Who are we, and who are we looking for?

I am a lecturer at Exeter College, so am fully DBS checked. I live with my 17 year old son, who is into music and electric guitars.

We are looking for both short and long term tenants. Couples are welcome, but rent would increase to £750 per month for a couple because of increase in bills and need for space.
