Large bedroom in characterful historic home

Double room (approx 4m x 5m) in centrally heated 15th century house with private shower (not en-suite). The room has beams and a low ceiling so would suit someone of average height, but if you're tall just mind your head!

We are a friendly couple with a spaniel as owner/occupiers; both of us work from home. We have plenty of parking on site, a large drive and large garden/patio to enjoy in the summer months.

The room has a king-sized double bed, fitted carpet, black-out lined curtains and a selection of wardrobes and a chest of drawers.
We have unlimited, super fast wireless broadband available, a large kitchen with Aga and additional electric oven to share, washing machine, tumble drier & dishwasher, and all usual household needs. The living room has an open fire which we use regularly.

The house is in a small village a mile to the north of Honiton, easily walkable if you don't drive, and with easy access to the Waterloo to Exeter station in Honiton. We are 17 miles to Exeter via the A30 or 17 miles to Taunton over the Blackdown Hills, so easily connected to the M5 too.

We're very easy going and respect others and their property; we expect the same. We enjoy good food and company so like to have friends over.
