This PL4 location is perfect in a residential and leafy cul-de-sac just off North Hill. On the main road are all the amenities of Mutley Plain and North Hill including gyms, shops, personal grooming, spiritual and creative and educational spaces, and places to eat and drink, etc. The city centre is a 7-minute walk down (or up) a well-lit and well-populated road with others about nearly all the time. North Hill has excellent bus links, and it is a 15-minute walk to the train station. There is on-street resident's parking outside the house. There is a small courtyard outside with washing line. Sometimes tenants make it look nice and I support this.
This is a household of three likeable professionals who work hard, are chilled out and live with fellow housemates who are good at sharing space. We are looking for one more similar person.
The communal spaces are fresh and welcoming and kept clean and tidy by the residents. There is a spacious and light sitting room, a galley kitchen with plenty of storage and a breakfast bar, a first-floor communal bath and shower room (shared between three), a separate loo, and a storage room you can use for bikes/surfboards etc, and a rear courtyard outside space. Parking is by residents parking on the street outside. There is high-speed broadband, a large washer dryer, and plenty of cold-food storage for everyone.
The bedroom to rent is contemporary, spacious, and south facing in the upstairs front of the house with the bay window and full-length single window shown in the picture. So it is sunny and light. The room has blackout curtains, a double bed, fitted carpet, a wall of wardrobe and built-in storage, plus an additional built in cupboard. Also on this floor are the bathroom and loo. There is no smoking inside. No dogs or cats, sorry. This room is £400 pcm plus an equal share of all bills, at the same rate offered by the suppliers for the consumption used by the household, and currently up to £200 pcm in winter. The total cost of this room is therefore around £600 pcm.
The bills are organised by me and equally shared at cost price, including council tax (Band B), broadband, and utilities (EPC=D rating). More detail upon contact. The tenancy is available now with NO APPLICATION FEES. I’m the landlady but I don’t live in. I am responsive and keep the place well-maintained, so everything works properly.
