Friendly, convenient, great atmosphere, shared home that has always had a good group dynamic and worked out well for all sharing and, apart from own rooms, all house is communal

It is a professional shared family house, quiet, friendly and relaxed, in Stoke area. Parking is readily available but easy walking to work in centre or theatre – good bus services to town, uni, Derriford and Art College.

Stoke is an urban village, with shops, supermarket, a chemist, an Italian café, a great Indian restaurant, a doctor’s practice, and various hostelries.

There’s a great park at the back, Devonport Park. There are good walking/running routes from here, and various areas of interest all within walking distance, as is shopping in Stoke village. The house has an Aga with double hob too, in good large convivial kitchen area, plus sofa space and table area. This is the heart of the house and a good place to enjoy shared household activities, cooking, socialising and sharing a glass of a wine. This has always been a great friendly, sociable house and a good place to make new friends, or can be just as enjoyable as a discrete personal base to come home to. There is also a separate dining room, for dinner gatherings!, and a relaxing living room with the TV, and open fire. It has worked out well and been great fun here sharing with housemates before, who have found it an enjoyable and relaxing space. It is also very clean and tidy, and kept so by cleaning lady weekly - also gardening artist looks after gardens front & back, and house plants

Rooms are good size doubles, the largest of which is a bedroom/sitting room. Great for study, with desk, and the house is warm, and has a good feel to it, making a good home-from-home base!
