About us

Myself and my lodger enjoy being outdoors and keeping fit, and regularly go walking and cycling around the Exe estuary, Woodbury Common and south coast (Exmouth and Budleigh). Both of us also enjoy travelling.

About Topsham

Topsham has lots of amenities including a Co-op, outdoor swimming pool, greengrocers, butchers, specialist shops, pharmacies, post office, lots of cafes and restaurants as well as six pubs. A large Aldi store is situated about 10 minutes' walk away along the road towards Exeter.

Topsham is connected to the National Cycle Network and both Exeter and Exmouth are an enjoyable and flat cycle ride along the Exe Estuary trail. In the summer there is also a small foot ferry that takes you over the river to Exminster and the Turf Locks Pub.

Topsham is very well connected via public transport with the regular 57 bus service and 15 minute train journeys both in the Exeter and Exmouth direction 7 days a week. The train station is less than a minute from the house.
