Room (Yours)

We have a small light and airy, double room available to be used by a single person. There is a desk, ottoman, shelving- with a further table accessible in the hallway. The wet room is just along the corridor, so not ensuite however not used by us.
The top floor of our dormer bungalow would be available for your sole use however currently our daughter is at home with her dog. Our daughter’s room is next to the one we rent out and hence she too will use the bathroom and access her room via the shared stairs and landing.
We live in a semi-detached bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac at the top of a hill - so with lovely views over the town and Dartmoor beyond. We are a 12-minute walk from the main town and 25 minutes from the train station. The kitchen is open plan with a dining area. The garden is available to sit in - and you are welcome to do the weeding if you are bored! There may be parking available in our driveway.

We are pretty quiet around the house and would appreciate a house guest being similar. I head out to work during the week however my husband is retired and is at home during the day. You will need to be comfortable with the dog being around - she will be keen to have your attention if your door is open!
