Beautiful Big Room in a Friendly Rural Farmhouse

This is a rustic house just outside Westleigh. This location will suit someone who loves the outdoors, is not afraid of living down winding lanes, muddy boots, friendly collies and a good measure of mayhem.

The room itself is very big, has old painted floorboards, its own steep staircase. It is above the kitchen and looks out over the fields behind the house. As the seasons change, so does the livestock in the fields and we also get a large number of migrating birds which visit the farm each year including swallows.

We are a family of four withtwo young children. We have a busy household with three other lodgers.

We have four very friendly collie dogs who love fetch and walks. There are five hens and two pigs too.

The farm is partly a working farm and partly a camping business which is in operation from April until the end of October. During that time the place can be quite busy and bustling. In the winter, we tend to hibernate a little.

Tim is a keen mariner, professionally and at any moment he can find a route to being on the water. His yard is usually full of boats. He is a keen vintage gun enthusiast, however, not known for accuracy, it is suspected he just likes the bang they make and it is common to hear bird scarers in the fields nearby too.

Alongside being a mum, Emma is an artist and studying illustration, whilst running the glamping business and doing a lot of losing things and from time to time leaves a trail of destruction through the utility whilst cleaning out various barns.

The farmhouse goes through cycles of chaos and tidiness on rotation. There is a cleaner who comes weekly to clean the common areas so the cycle is pretty much weekly. It would be an option to pay extra for the cleaner to clean your room as well.
