Large double room in peaceful location

Hi I’m Jon, I recently bought my new house in Moordown / Charminster area and am looking to rent the second bedroom.

Location is very central, great public transport links and walking distance from Charminster, Winton and castlepoint. Nice quiet street with lovely neighbours.

The available room is very large and the entire house has high ceilings and big rooms so feels spacious and bright, brand new main bathroom with a new shower and MASSIVE bath!! There is also a separate WC. Large open plan lounge dining room and a well equipped kitchen including brand new appliances and an air fryer. There is also a small bar area in the lean-to with a second fridge to provide more fridge space, a darts board and some bar games, a great additional socialising space!

I live here with my beagle Ralph, he is my best mate and is very friendly so being a “dog person” is essential! He is very quiet sleeps a lot, but is very nosey and will want to hang out with you as well when possible.

I work from home most of the time, so the third bedroom is my study, but has a day bed in there for occasional overnight visitors which you are welcome to use.

Essentially whenever I have rented to people before I really want it to feel like home, I’m not a fussy live in landlord and want it to feel like housemates. So as long as you are clean and tidy, and respectful of the house (and Ralph) then we will get along great!

The room has a brand new double bed and mattress, 3 double wardrobes with optional bedside tables and a chest of drawers.

I have fast fibre broadband and excellent wifi all around the property (including the garden). Amazon prime television can be included, and I will likely re-activate at least one other streaming service that we can share, but if you already have a log on to a complimentary one we can work out a deal! Electricity and gas is included in the rent. There is lots of free unlimited on road parking, off road parking can be agreed if required. Brand new washing machine, and a heated drying rack available to use.

A very friendly and small / medium sized dog might be considered as we both love dogs, but ideally no pets.
