A spacious double bedroom is available now in a warm, welcoming cottage in the heart of Verwood, Dorset. This is a genuine home – not a house of strangers – and we're looking for the right person to share it with. It's in a peaceful location down a drive with birds, squirrels and trees surrounding the cottage. At night there isn't any light pollution so you can see the stars.

YOUR ROOM
Your ground-floor room is a generous double with a bed which has a comfortable king-size mattress. A dresser is included, and a wardrobe and TV can be provided if you'd like them.
You'll have the family bathroom right next door – a proper bath with a rainfall shower – and the downstairs toilet is exclusively yours overnight, as we have our own facilities upstairs.

LOCATION & LIFESTYLE
Verwood sits on the edge of the New Forest, with beautiful walks locally. The wider area opens up into deeper Dorset, Wiltshire, and Somerset – think sandy beaches, rolling countryside, and countless sites of interest.
In town, you'll find the Verwood Hub (gym, fitness classes, cinema, live music), local shops, cafés, and pubs – all within walking distance. Morrisons, Lidl, and Tesco Express are a short stroll from the cottage.
For commuters, the A31 is roughly ten minutes away, giving easy access to the M3 and the coast. Ringwood (4.5 miles) has a Recreation Centre with a large pool.

ABOUT US
We're Grace and Richard, a friendly working couple in our 50s and 60s. We enjoy music, cooking, walking, cycling, films, and the occasional festival. We also have a very sociable cat who considers himself head of household – fair warning, he will want to vet you personally! Richard's brother stays in the barn and only uses the shower in the cottage.
