🏡 I’m renting out the spare furnished double room in my flat and looking forward to welcoming my next lodger. I’ve had two previous lodgers, both of whom stayed up to 12 months, so I’m hoping to find another great fit.

The room comes fully furnished with a double bed and comfy mattress, chest of drawers, clothes rail, mirror, small desk/TV stand, and shoe cabinets — ready to move straight in.

You’ll be sharing a well-kept flat with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and living room, plus full fibre WiFi, perfect for streaming!

What’s included:
• WiFi, water, council tax, and service charge
• Electricity is not included in the rent

• Private car park plus roadside parking
• Shared garden with grassed area, outdoor furniture, and clothes drying line
• Gated, locked bike shed (also suitable for storing other outdoor items within reason)

Location highlights:
• Bus stop to town or Dorchester: 5-minute walk
• Train station: 20-minute walk
• Beach: approx. 25-minute walk
• Supermarkets (Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Aldi & Lidl): 10-minute walk
• Dorchester & Weymouth town centres: around 10 minutes by car (traffic depending)

A bit about me:
I work a Monday–Friday office job and occasionally work from home. I enjoy keeping active, getting out and about, and I’m big into music of all kinds. I love travelling and recently spent three months exploring New Zealand and Asia. I also have a friendly, welcoming group of friends — ideal if you’re new to the area and keen to meet people.

Who I’m looking for:
Ideally a young professional who’s respectful, easygoing, and happy living in a shared space. References will be required. As this is my home, it’s important that we get on well — I’m aiming for a comfortable, friendly living setup rather than just a room rental.
