🌿 Double Room in Sociable, Creative Flat Dumfries

Looking for a sociable, easy-going female in her late 20s–30s who enjoys gigs, festivals, day trips and a friendly home atmosphere.

Double room available in a two-bed flat right in Dumfries town centre.
5 minutes to the bus stops and the train station is just behind the flat – ideal if you don’t drive.

About me
I’m 34, female, easy-going, tidy and fairly quiet during the week (yoga, gym, swimming and a drawing class). I work from home a lot.
At weekends I’m usually out and about – local festivals, live music, the pub, and trips to Glasgow/Edinburgh. I also do art for some local festivals in the summer. In the warmer months I’m into kayaking, paddleboarding and random day adventures, so it would be lovely to live with someone who enjoys getting out and doing things rather than staying in their room all the time.

It’s a relaxed, friendly flat – not a party flat, but definitely not a silent one either.

The room
I’m currently rearranging the flat so the room will be ready shortly (I’m moving my bedroom). Photos to follow once it’s done.

What I’m looking for
Ideally someone around a similar age who is:
• Sociable and easy to live with
• Tidy and respectful of shared space
• Enjoys gigs, festivals, pubs or day trips
• Up for the occasional adventure (kayaking, paddleboarding, exploring, etc.)
• Not a full-time stay-in-the-bedroom type
• Either works outside the flat or is comfortable with a bit of daytime music if working from home

Bonus if you drive for the odd day trips, but not essential.

This would suit someone who wants a friendly, sociable home rather than just a place to sleep. No pressure to do everything together, but a similar lifestyle is important.
