Ensuite room close to Battle station

The room to be let is the master bedroom of the house, with a double bed, ensuite with bath/shower (shower replaced a few weeks ago), built-in double wardrobe and desk. Happy to remove any furniture you don’t want, if you’re coming from a furnished place for example. The room looks onto the garden. There’s fast internet- around 100mbps download and 85 mbps upload.

The house has a brand new kitchen/diner and living areas. There is also a Garage which contains an extra fridge, 2 washing machines (inc washer/dryer) and a small gym. We park on the drive but there is ample on street parking as we are at the end of a quiet Cul-de-sac.

We are a friendly, relaxed couple who have lived with housemates before and enjoyed it so are looking for a new lodger in our spare bedroom. We are looking for a likeminded individual (or couple) who is clean, respectful and friendly. I work in Customer experience research, mostly from our home office, but commute into London about once a week. My Partner works in sales and works from home around half of the time. We also have an 8 year old cat named Jessie.

We are 10-15 minute walk to Battle high street and a 5 minute walk to the station, which has a trains which goes direct through Tunbridge wells, into London Bridge, Waterloo East and Charing Cross, or down to Hastings.

We would consider a couple for an additional £30 a month to cover additional bills.
