The Garden

Double room in a shared house . Sunny south facing room, looking out onto the downs, with desk space. We are friendly, laid back household , keen gardener lives here who grows food in the very big back garden. The house is on a quiet and leafy street close to the new cooperative pub ‘The Bevy’. Lewes Road and Moulsecoomb train station are 15 minutes walk. The regular 49 bus service runs from the bottom of the road and can take you into town in 25 minutes and there’s a grocery shop in our road. You can walk to Lewes over the downs from the rear of the house. The house has a laidback, freindly and peaceful and quiet atmosphere.. The big back garden has veggie patch, polytunnel and we are halfway through building a cob oven. We are a pet free house.

No couples please – would suit someone professional creative/outdoor type, spiritual into gardening and searching for some peace and quiet.
