Available Bedroom : central room lit by skylight approx. 5.5 sq m. Very large wardrobe/storage. 3 drawer desk Single bed. £ 480 per month & damage protection deposit of £400 refundable at end of tenancy if no damage. The single bed has mattress topper & mattress protector & resident provides their own duvet, pillows & sheets. All the bills are paid by the landlady but please note : the heating is usually about 20°c. on a timer. It is switched off Monday to Friday between 9.30 am and 5.00pm so someone occupied away from the flat 9-5 Mon-Fri would be much better The alternative is for residents to pay the gas and electricity bill but it is unlikely that the other residents will agree. Sorry no night-workers
Residents must be non-smokers, able to get on well with others & keep the flat clean & above all, have common sense It's usually quiet & it's a top-floor furnished flat so tenants need to be able to cope with stairs. It may take about 10 days to get used to the stairs but the effort is worth it especially as it is a very good position.
There are currently 2 women, both very considerate, 40. y. o. who keep the flat clean. 1 Chinese & 1 Polish The landlady sometimes stays. Work and social commitments mean there's a strong possibility that the new resident will be spending some time alone in the flat, so at the moment it isn't right for someone who would like to be sure of company. It's difficult to find the right place and it is difficult to find the right person for the right place. Please don't just ask if the room is available but send a description of yourself and how you think you'd be a good match
The new resident must be sociable & considerate but not mind being alone, do her share of the cleaning or pay a cleaner and ideally be a 9-5er. If the ad is listed , the room is still available There is no point in asking if the room is available I have given a detailed description of what is available I need your description of yourself & unfortunately I don't have enough time to phone people Best wishes
