Bright Large Double in 2 bed flat

Hi there, my name is Chris and I would be your new housemate :)


Tenancy would start from the 15th of September, it may be possible to move in prior to that date.
The flat is located in Fiveways just opposite the Co-Op, the surrounding area is really nice with mostly young families and professionals.
Lots of small shops inc a greengrocers, corner shop and flour pot bakery.
There is on street parking which requires a permit.

The flat has two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom all are very comfortably sized.
There is also a large attic space which can accommodate anything you’d like to store out of the way.
The shower has good pressure and won’t run out of hot water.
Our kitchen had all new units, cooker and oven just over 3 years ago and the boiler was replaced not long after, the washing machine was new 2 years ago and I replaced the fridge/freezer in January.

The room for rent is the larger of the two it easily has space for several wardrobes and a desk as well as a double bed, the flat is unfurnished but i have a collection of furniture you are welcome to use; including bed, chest of draws and wardrobe/hanger system.

The deposit is £400

Bills come to roughly £200each a month we have had it split so that I take responsibility for two bills and my housemate takes responsibility for the other two.
We don’t have a TV licence - don’t own a tv.
There is Virgin Fibre broadband (incase you are curious).
I have lived here for roughly 4 years and it’s a really nice space for two people to share, the landlord Simon is a lovely guy, he lives in Dubai, is easy to deal with and very responsive to any issues.

I work as a record producer and have a desk space/guitars in a corner of the living room.
I occasionally have clients come round to work during the day, I am pretty quiet and try to be respectful of noise etc.
I keep anything like singing within sociable hours.

I really love to cook and am generally willing to share!
I am vegetarian and deathly allergic to all fish/seafood/things that come from the sea.
So obviously I would prefer someone who is vegetarian or vegan, pescatarian is not an option.
I have a decent amount of kitchen stuff and you are welcome to use it.

I like to be social with my housemates and when we have free time it’s nice to share meals, a few drinks or just hang out and chat.

I’m not bothered about gender, orientation etc, I’ve lived with a mix of people the last few years.
I would just like someone I get along with that isn’t going to create any unnecessary stress or drama.

Ideally it would be good to live with someone who is 25-35 I’m keen on keeping the place clean as far as possible but obviously it can’t always be perfect.
