Double room in cosy 2-bedroom house off Western Rd

Double room, upstairs in a 2-bedroom split-level flat with a large, cosy living room. The property is close to the shops on Western Road (Taj, Waitrose) and very close to the seafront.

The room is good sized, and comes unfurnished. However, the room has 3(!) in-built storage spaces for hanging clothes etc. and the current housemate is willing to sell the bed and desk if a new tenant is interested.

I am a lecturer at University of Sussex. Currently, all my teaching is online so I work from home, often long days. I like my quiet time but I'm also up for chilling in the living room! I like spending time outdoors (cycling, tennis, hiking) and playing board games (I'm amassing quite the collection).

I'm Covid-conscious and, ideally, the person moving in would also be (i. e., other than partners, I'm not too keen on having people coming over outside the household). No smoking in the flat and no pets (I'd love to be able to have one, but the house contract prohibits it)

Room is available from early December, but a later move-in date is also possible.

Bills are split between us, usually around 50 pounds or less (depending on usage).
