Warm bright double room in central Brighton

Furnished double room in delightful house in popular residential area of Brighton - an easy walk to Fiveways cafes and “big” Sainsbury’s. Doesn’t take long to walk, bus or cycle to city, seaside and downs. Easy access to London Road, Preston Park, and Brighton stations, as well as the centre of town. Wild Park, Blakers Park and the Level are a short walk away, and the South Downs are just up the hill.

The bright room is freshly-decorated, double-glazed and, like the house, is centrally heated. It has a double bed, storage, office chair and desk – great for homeworking or post-grad studying.

There is plenty of space in the shared living room, sunny kitchen-diner and warm bathroom. Outside there’s a lawned garden, secure bike storage and a patio ideal for coffee breaks and barbecues in the sunshine. Inside, the kitchen has the usual washing machine, oven, hob and microwave while the bathroom has separate shower cubicle and bath. 100mbps broadband, water, and energy bills are included in the rent. Council tax is band C. There is a shared bathroom and a downstairs loo.

The room is currently only available for short-term let - maximum of six months. If you're a post-grad student or professional looking for a place to stay for a few months, this would be great for you. When I’m not working at University of Sussex I run, play guitar and make a good carbonara. I enjoy socialising, chatting, and having barbecues, but I also like to have some of my own space.
