I have a lovely bedroom in my beautiful house for rent. This is for a single person and would suit a mature student or professional, who enjoys a quieter location, but wants to be in town in a few minutes by bike, bus or train.
I live in a beautiful and friendly international house, we have a shared open plan kitchen, dining/ living room area with lots of light and an amazing view, a modern bathroom and extra toilet. I live here with my other lodger, but my two kids sometimes come to stay as well, both are at university. I teach at a secondary school and lead a busy life. .
The house is very comfortable, the neighbours are great and I just love living here. There are two sitting areas outside, both catching the sun during the day.
In my spare time I like arts and crafts and I have a workshop in my garage, There is also space for a bike, but car parking is restricted to residential only. I also sing in a choir and I like all kind of music, I like cycling, sports, being outside. My house is usually clean and not a party house, we go to bed pretty early, although I might have friends round, and it is clean and tidy.
I live near Preston Park station, so only 3 minutes by train to Brighton, or 10 minutes by bike to anywhere. There is also a regular bus route into town or up to the Downs.
I am looking for a female (mature) student to share my house, or professional who does not work from home. We are very friendly here and I am looking forward to hearing from you. The rent includes heating (well, that is in the morning and the evening, not a house to work from home)and water/ electricity, but if you are working I would have to ask for 25 pounds extra towards the council tax unless your main residence is somewhere else.
