Room to rent in family home in Hanover

I have a room available in my home, my current lodger is moving out at the end of April

My house is in Hanover, and is arranged over 4 floors.

Hanover is a great place to live, central and walking distance to the sea, train station and the centre of town - lots of great pubs in the area too!

You would be sharing with me, my adult son and my partner, I work rolling night shifts and my partner is self employed. If you work from home, this may not be the place for you..

We have pets, two cats, who are a bit nervous of new people but very friendly once they get to know you. We also have fish both inside and in the garden. I am sorry I can't accommodate any more pets.

You would have sole use of your room on the 1st floor, it has wood floors, a double bed, chest of drawers and a wardrobe, there is also an aerial point for tv.

You would have shared use of the rest of the house, my partner and I have an en suite and there is also a bathroom with bath/shower next to your room., so there is never a queue for the loo or bathroom.

The house is very open plan, the ground floor is a kitchen/dining room with tv, kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge, gas hob, 2 ovens juicer, air fryer etc.

The basement is an open plan lounge, large tv, music set up with record deck, wood burner. It’s cosy in the winter and refreshingly cool in the summer.

I am looking for a mature housemate (sorry no couples) who like us has probably had their clubbing days and will treat my house as their home and become a friend rather than hide in their room. I like my home to be a place to relax and chill out on my days off work.

A little about me, I work in Adult Social care and my partner is self employed. My son works in hospitality. I'm happiest watching bands, well known or in my local. I enjoy swimming and going to the gym, meeting up with friends and going to gigs. My partner enjoys beer and playing Toads (a local pub games) and growing stuff on our allotment.
Most of our socialising is done outside of the home.

There is on street parking, zone V doesn’t have a waiting list.
