Double Room in Friendly 3-Bed Bungalow

We’re two male friends living in a lovely three-bedroom bungalow in Hollingdean with a large back garden, garage, and free parking. We’re looking for someone to take the third bedroom – a cosy double room with additional external wardrobe space.

The house has 2 toilets, 1 bathroom, a huge back garden, a bright living room with spectacular views where we often hang out with a glass of wine and/or watch a film, and a spacious kitchen area with brand new appliances. The bungalow was completely unfurnished when we moved in a couple of months ago but we’ve kitted the place out ourselves, and it’s now really homely.

The spare double bedroom was also unfurnished but we've put some semi-permanent furniture in there so it'd be ideal if you have some of your own furnishings, but it’s also ready to move into as is if need be.

We’re both in our 40s, easygoing and friendly. We work during the day and like a balance between being social and having our own downtime. We’re past the wild party days, but we still enjoy the occasional pub visit and chilled evening together.

We don’t mind if you’re male, female, straight, or gay – we just care that you’re trustworthy, considerate, and easy to live with. Our previous third housemate bailed right before move-in after signing the contract, so reliability really matters this time above all else. Please note, this will not be a sublet - we will arrange to get your name on the lease with the landlord. Also, we've agreed that we don't want to share with anyone working from from home or on night shifts, sorry!

Combined bills are currently roughly around the £400 mark in total between us, which includes everything: gas, electric, internet, council tax, and TV licence, with the council tax being in band D. Though, obviously, with a third person and winter approaching it may be slightly more than this.
