Double room in Hanover !

Hello!

I am moving out of my lovely house in Hanover as I'm relocating to London for work. I’m looking for someone great to replace me and join my current housemates Ester, Rosie and Freya. We have a double room available in our 4 bedroom house. It is technically unfurnished but there has been a double loft bed in it for as long as I can remember as it makes great use of the space - so there would be an option to keep it in there if you like it in the room.

We live on a friendly, quiet street with a strong sense of community and great neighbours... not to mention excellent pubs! The location is great - by foot, 15 minutes from Brighton centre and train station, 20 minutes to the beach, and great access to the South Downs.

The kitchen, bathroom and living room are all downstairs. We have a walled garden where we love growing flowers and veg. 🥕

About us…

Rosie (she/her) undertakes a plethora of exciting money making schemes - a few examples include working in community gardens, kitchens, cafes, schools and being a full time artist. Enjoys biking, films, shared meals, yoga, and being a gorgeous social butterfly.

Freya (she/her) former teacher in the process of a career change - by day, working in insurance, by night: dances, forages, dives, hikes, CrossFit and enjoys spending time with friends and family.

Ester (she/her) is a mental health support worker who has lived in many different places! She enjoys reading, film, and is great at organising house activities.

We are sociable people who care about our home environment, it is important this is a safe and inclusive home as we are all LGBTQ+. We like to keep the space tidy and alternate cleaning chores fairly. When our social energies align, we like to hang out and enjoy a house activity whether that's going out for a hike, for a meal, to the pub, or to the cinema together! The house is an important space for us all to relax and recharge as we generally have quite busy active/lifestyles. We aren't a 'party house' but do have the occasional gathering of friends for birthdays, football, pride, dinners and such.

Accessibility: We do not have an intercom and are not a scent free home although people are generally mindful of not spraying strong scents in communal spaces. The room advertised is on the first floor and there is one flight of stairs to access, the communal areas (kitchen, living room, bathroom and garden) are down another flight of stairs.
