We are looking for a nice new lodger who is either a post grad or a professional. Our home is just off Dyke Road (with a local Tesco for those emergency needs), near the Booth museum and an easy 9 minute walk from Seven Dials where pubs, restaurants and shops are bountiful!

We are also close to Preston Park, which offers sports facilities and many walking and picnic opportunities!

The house has a good bus service into central town and we are also a 20 minute walk from both Brighton and Hove mainline stations plus, if you are travelling to London, Preston Park station is only a 10 minutes walk away.

We have a comfy double room at the top of the house with a shared bathroom (with a good sized shower). Situated at the back of the house, it allows for privacy and peace! The room has shelving, chest of drawers, wardrobe and a desk/chair.

You would be sharing the house with my daughter, our lovely flatmate, our beautiful cocker spaniel and a well behaved cat. You have full wi-fi and and an aerial available in your room.

We all get on well in the house and keep it clean and tidy and smoke free.

The house includes a fridge and a washing machine for your use and a line outside or drying horse inside. We have a patio at the back of the house which is perfect for morning coffee (when the sun shines) and also can accommodate a bike. We expect our lodger to pay for their own washing powder/tabs.

Single occupancy rental £700 per month
Deposit £300

This includes ALL of the following bills (please consider fair use of the usual utilities):
Gas, Electric, Council tax, hi-speed broadband, fully furnished room and cupboard/fridge space in the kitchen.

So you know, the first step is a credit and reference check and if you check out ok, then we are good to go. You will need to pay the first month in advance and the deposit when we sign contracts.
