Double bedroom available in 3 bedroom flat to share with myself and one other lodger. The other lodger has their own bathroom and kitchen facilities so the shared kitchen and bathroom is only with myself.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, 2 x chest of drawers, television, fold up table and chair and overhead storage. Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and bathroom includes separate shower and bath with washing machine and tumble-dryer. Living room comes with tv, dvd player, freeview and fire stick with bbc I player and amazon prime. Wifi also available.

The flat is on the third floor so may not suit someone who doesn’t like stairs as there is no lift!

There is a large communal garden with free on-street parking available.

Rent is £475 per month with a deposit of one month's rent. All bills are included. I am looking for a long term lodger ideally but am open to those looking for a 3 month let. After this period, one month notice on either side to be given.

Silverdale Road in Meads is a lovely, peaceful location with a 15 minute walk to the town centre and Eastbourne train station and a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is a 10 minute walk to the beginning of the South Downs including a lovely walk to Beachy Head.

I am a live in landlord and have been renting my rooms out for over five years and enjoy sharing with people from all walks of life. I work self employed in property development. I also volunteer with the Samaritans. I enjoy socialising, walking or cycling in the countryside, music, reading, box sets and documentaries. I am easy to get along with and talk to however I am very respectful of your own space and realise that after a long, maybe stressful day at work, you might want some 'me' time. I am also trying to learn spanish so bonus points if you speak the language and allow me to practise :-)

I can do Covid secure viewings wearing a mask and providing a hand sanitiser. Prior to that we can do a face time call so we can chat and I can give you a preview of the room and the flat.
