A super-large double room in an equally large three-bed flat. (One person only, no couples)

Your room is 15’6” x 12’2” (4.7m x 3.7m) with a full-size double bed and good mattress, bedside table/drawers, a leather sofa, large desk and chair with double height / double rail wardrobe with room for tons of clothes and shoes plus storage on top.

In addition, there are modern chests of drawers all along one wall giving you 8 standard and 8 double drawers – so there’s loads of storage space. Also, it gives you loads of counter-top space for your toiletries etc.

And despite all that, there’s still acres of free floor-space so you’ll never feel cramped. Plus, there are plenty of electrical sockets and a surprisingly effective storage heater.

Your room is at the rear of the property, away from the street, and so is fairly quiet. Though being right on the edge of town with its many bars and clubs, we do sometimes hear the revellers at weekends! So this room would suit someone with a “young” outlook on life and who maybe would occasionally enjoy the restaurants, bars and clubs nearby.

There are only two occupants though, you and me – I use the other room for my office.

The flat is literally three minutes’ walk from the sea, one minute to the shops and about six minutes to the station. You can find free parking a few streets away or you should be able to get a resident’s permit from the council to park closer by. There’s also a gym just around the corner.

About me:
Self-employed and work from home office. I run a marketing company and also a property consultancy company so a bit of a workaholic. Tend to be fairly quite when working but enjoy occasional company/conversation and almost always up for “shall we go out to eat or have a drink”. I’m looking for a lodger who is fun / interesting ideally but also fairly self-contained..

About You
The room is for one person only to live. Visitors not a problem, but only one occupant.

You must be fully house-trained, clean and tidy. This is more of a flat-share that just a room rental so you’ll be expected to do your bit to keep the flat clean and tidy (or we could go halves on a cleaner).

You should have a "go to work" job at least most of the time as I work form home in the daytime.

You’ll be a personable and employed person, preferably good company and not always a hide-in-room type.

Also as there are quite a few stairs to the flat you’ll either be fairly fit or want to get fit!
