Living Room

Hello there

This is my home, where I live, and I have a bedroom available for rent.

The house is on the West Hill, and is a 5 min walk to Ore train station and 10-15min walk to Hastings train station, the beach, and the Old Town. It is a comfortable and spacious four bedroom detached Edwardian house with garden and patio.

There is a well equipped kitchen with separate utility room with washing machine and separate dryer, and a small pantry off the utility room.

The dining room has a dining table for 6-10, a wood burning stove and a comfy chair facing outside.

The living room has another wood burning stove, large L-shaped sofa and a comfy chair in the corner. There is no TV, but there is a projector, just plug in your device.

There is a separate study where I work. This space is not available for use.

The double bedroom has a king sized bed, double wardrobe, shelves, a double school desk, bedside table, chair and lamp.

There are two bathrooms, one with a large walk in shower, one with a bath.

There is a three tiered garden. The top tier has some plants, the middle tier is grass, the bottom tier is a patio with a small outside table and chairs. There is a log store around the side of the house.

As this is my home which I love, I’m looking for respectful people who will take care of it as if it was their own.

Who am I looking for?:

A professional in full time work that’s on site (not home workers)
A positive person who has a life outside of the home
Looking for someone who wants (and keeps) a clean relaxed home, and is not looking for parties
People who respect other people (keep it quiet after 10pm)
Non smokers
Fit in with us who are early birds rather than night owls

I am relatively healthy, I like sports, not a massive drinker

There will be 2 of us currently living here full time and we are looking for one more. I am not accepting couples or adults who want their children come to stay.

Rent includes council tax, water, internet, and reasonable use of electricity and gas. It also includes a regular cleaner and some house essentials (bin bags, loo roll etc).
