Dbl Bed In A Sunny 2-Bed House

Hello!

My name's Louisa, and I'm a friendly, chilled English teacher and writer, looking for a housemate to share a beautiful 2-bed semi-detached house in north Brighton, Hollingbury, with my friendly, loving, well-behaved dog, Bella. I have a small sunny double room available from APRIL 2026 (though a king-size bed fits well!) I've brought the price down as I've decided to take the larger double.

Our house has wonderful views of the sunset over the South Downs. We are well-connected to Brighton centre with the 26/46/52/5 bus stops all between 1 minute and 10 minutes' walk, and which take approx 20mins to get into town. Preston Park train station is only 1.6miles. The house has 2 private off-road parking spaces.

I don't have Wifi as I have unlimited data and use my Hotspot but you can get Wifi if needed. We have two huge gardens front and back, a living room, dining room, kitchen, upstairs main bathroom and downstairs loo and laundry room to share, so plenty of room and lovely neighbours. Asda/M&S and various supermarkets are within 20 minutes walking distance. The Hollingbury Woods/golf course and Wilde Park are a ten-minute walk away. There's a wood fire in the living room, too, though we also have gch!

I work Mon-Fri, and I chill at home most weekends and evenings, occasionally going away to stay with friends or having family/friends to dinner or to stay (I have double sofabeds in the living room), maybe once every couple of months, and am happy for you to do the same - just not all the time!

Privacy is important, though obviously we'd need to get on well to live in harmony, and new friends are always nice - but a peaceful home is super important to me. Bills are low, monthly and divided between us (water £35 /CT - Band D - £220pm I think, G/E - Good Energy £100 approx in the summer months, gardening - £100 every 3 months all divided by 2.
