NB: Entire top floor with large double bedroom PLUS a further double for working from home, PLUS your own bathroom. Bills INCL. I'm sure you'll love it here in my home in Hove, all mod cons, super fast broadband, and me and my pooch. Very friendly, easy going and considerate, gay professional here.

If it sounds a lot, it's because you get a lot of room, both to yourself, and in the communal spaces. It's a lot cheaper than anywhere near this much space, and privacy, and location, even without the bills included, which they are. Huge lounge diner. Large walled patio garden. Enormous flatscreen tv. There's even an oven each, if you really need it. And the obligatory dishwasher, so no worrying who didn't wash up!

No couples sorry, and landlord isn’t keen on additional pets. I love them, but the one that's here is adamant he's top dog!

It is a large funky house with me running the joint, and my pooch thinking it's his.. It's more than a house, it's a home. A 'how was your day?' place. An 'are you ok?' place. A 'can we stop laughing now, but still laughing' place. With privacy when it's needed. It's a great place to be, and located about 5 mins walk from the sea, and less than ten mins walk from Hove Station.

On offer is the entire top floor, with two double rooms; one for you to have as your bedroom, one as your work-from-home (or even chill out) space. There's a bathroom serving just that floor, so that's for your use, and there's another bathroom downstairs which I use, so getting in the bathroom won't be an issue.

Next floor down is my bedroom, my office, and the other bathroom.

On the ground floor is a very large shared lounge/diner with huge flatscreen tv with netflix etc. Two funky large sofas and large coffee table. These are separate from a large dining table and chairs, opening out onto a lovely walled patio, a real sun trap and great for bbq's in the summer. The kitchen area is well equipped, lots of storage, a dishwasher, two full ovens (yes, two!), large fridge-freezer, microwave.

There is an absolutely fantastic pub across the road, and great takeaway places. Supermarkets and main bus routes are literally within a minute's walk, so even if the milk runs out, you can be there and back before the kettle's boiled. And the house is only a 5min walk from the beach, and less than ten mins walk from Hove Station with direct fast trains to London Victoria. Also loads of bus routes on the doorstep.

I'm a friendly, genuine, guy, with superb friends (mainly ones I've known for 30yrs), and have lived here with a best friend for the past two years. He's moved out and down the road having bought a flat. but we'll still be meeting at the pub, I'm sure! The landlord is completely hands-off and has given permission for me to sublet rather than him having to source new tenants.

I'm a musician (inc. live performing) and piano-teacher, and am home quite a lot through the day. I like socialising and my own space in equal measure. I'm gay, so being gay-friendly is essential. My politics are left-leaning, I'm not massively into sport, not even vaguely into football, and whilst I don't mind a good debate, it's a fair bet I wouldn't want to share with Jacob Rees-Mogg…. I'm somewhere between atheist and agnostic. I'm pretty tidy, certainly in the shared spaces, and very considerate. Like I say, it's a home, not just a place.
