Single room to rent in central Lewes

I have previously rented the room to students from the University of Sussex who have appreciated the peace, quiet and tidiness that this house offers.

The room
A small, clean, bright single room with bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers and mirror.

The house
A small, modern two bedroom house, three minutes walk from Lewes station and the Depot cinema. You will have full access to kitchen, lounge/diner, bathroom, patio with garden furniture, communal bike park and washing lines.

The landlord
I used to be a lecturer in Further Education. I then completed a PhD at the University of Brighton and now work for a charity in London. I'm 40 years old.

I usually stay in London for part of each week, so you will often have the place to yourself. I tend to stay at the house for 3 -4 nights a week. My partner will occasionally stay over at a weekend. We are friendly, mature and considerate.

Other things to note:

There is a dedicated car parking space next to the house.

Whilst the room and the house are clean and bright, they are small! The space is probably best suited to a student who has a permanent base elsewhere and is looking for somewhere to stay during term-time.

The room will be available from September 2021 onwards. Ideally looking for 6 months minimum. You will be required to pay a deposit of £550 and first month's rent in order to secure the room.
