As I am planning to move abroad, as I have nearly completed my PhD, I am looking for someone to take over my tenancy.
My flatmates are wonderful, mostly postgrad. We are all busy doing our own thing, but we also spend time in the living area, cooking or going for walks, or having a glass of wine. We all get along very well, they are all friendly and respectful, and genuinely good people!
Two are doing their MA, one their PhD and one is doing a placement year, so it's a more mature/postgrad house, generally speaking. We have students in Sussex, and Brighton, as the house is located conveniently close to both universities. It's only a 10-15 min walk to the Falmer campus, and it's a very quiet neighbourhood. The room is on the FIRST FLOOR, and overlooking the back garden, so it's great.
The house is recently refurbished as you can see in the photos, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen, and a garage where you can store your bike or other things.
The house includes a driveway and free on-road parking (Permits are free and easily obtainable).
The contract runs up until 5th August 2026, with the option to renew.
