Hello! I'm Anna, a 34 year old civil servant who is looking for a housemate to share my beautiful home alongside my small terrier, Peggy.

The house is a three bedroom victorian terrace with a fully equipped kitchen, living room with log burner, dining room (which is also my office during the day), bathroom and separate toilet plus a good-sized garden along with a summer house that gets plenty of sunshine in the summer. The spare room is available if you ever have friends and family that need a place to stay.

Situated on a quiet road off the main High Street, it's an 8 min walk to Portslade Station, and the number 1 bus is 2 mins away, taking you to Brighton centre in under half an hour.

A bit about me: I work as a policy advisor for the civil service, which means I spend half my time in Westminster and half working from home. In my free time I'm typically found walking Peggy in the downs, otherwise love to have friends over for dinner, choose my next DIY project (the hallway is the next to contend with), or run along the seafront. I also love to travel, so there may be times when you have the house to yourself.

I'm looking for a housemate who is after a quiet and friendly home, who is clean/tidy (standard requirement surely!), and easy going. I work from home two days a week so ideally someone who has a regular Mon-Fri job.

You'll also need to like dogs- Peggy is incredibly friendly and well-behaved (albeit somewhat possessed by a desire to defend the back garden from the local squirrels), and is typically found snoozing in the sun.

Fixed bills e. g. virgin fibre broadband/water/council tax included. Gas and electric we'll split (at current usage it would be no more than £100pm p/p). Parking permits available for on-street parking otherwise it's free the road along.

The room is available from 20th April, but I'm happy to be flexible for the right person.
