Quiet double room in Portslade village

We have a double bedroom for rent in our home in Portslade village. 15 minute walk to the train station. Number 6 bus stop and corner shop are 2 minutes away and the 1/1X route is about 8 minutes away. Easthill Park is 30 seconds away via a footpath.

We are a married couple with two friendly dogs, so being a dog lover is important! Unfortunately as we already have 2, I don't think we could accept another dog in the house. We both work on a hybrid basis with Emily being in the office twice a week and Si's work pattern being a little more sporadic but a balance of being out and at home. When at home, we work in our designated office upstairs. We would prefer someone who works on a similar pattern to us, if possible (rather than working from home 100% of the time).

The room is furnished with a double bed, bed-side drawers, a shelving unit, and a large chest of drawers. We'd be happy for you to add extra items if you wish.

The room is at the back of the house and overlooks the garden which has a hot tub.

The bathroom, living room and kitchen are both shared and you're welcome to use the communal areas at your leisure.

There is parking close by (non-permit) although not directly outside the house due to its location.
