Seeking lodger to share relaxed home with lush gardens in quiet edge of village location. Bills like water, energy, council tax are included (we all buy and share household stuff like loo paper as needed).

Two sets of white shelving, white drawers, clothes hanging rail, chair, round glass table/desk, feature fireplace. White painted walls, camel colour carpet, rug, radiator.
Shared bathroom with bath & shower, cupboard for toiletries. Downstairs washroom with toilet and handbasin. Big bright spacious sitting room with large bay window, 2 big sofas, 2 reading lights. Cosy efficient wood burning stove and gas central heating. Good sized kitchen with dishwasher, coffee machine, combi microwave, fan oven etc. Fast fibre broadband.

Semi-detached house with beautiful brickwork. Washing machine in outside laundry room, clothes lines. Garden with fruit trees, lawn, organic veg beds, greenhouse and free range chickens at the back. Front garden with flower beds and strawberries. Tables and seating in two areas of the garden. Lots of native birds and birdsong. Fields on 2 sides of the house. Free parking on 2 lay-bys beside the house. Quiet lane with few cars passing.

A short stroll to the bus stop with regular direct buses to Lewes and Brighton. A few minutes drive to train stations in Glynde and Lewes with direct connections to London, Brighton, Eastbourne etc. Ringmer has a range of useful local shops including mini-supermarket with post office, butcher, bakery, 2 cafes, restaurant, fish & chips, 2 pubs, hairdresser, garage and petrol station. Lots of local countryside walks including onto South Downs hills. (The house is near the beginning of the lane, not far along as shown on the map.)

I'm an easy-going busy eco-researcher. Quiet but sociable. Existing housemate is a considerate and creative professional. There's also my gentle 9 year old female black lab.
